Creek Island, Dubai Creek Harbour
The original district: an island linked to the mainland by three bridges, with the first towers, the marina and the Creek Tower plot.
Creek Island is where Dubai Creek Harbour began. It sits on its own island, separated from the mainland by a canal and connected by three bridges, and it holds the community's first residential towers, Creek Marina and the site of Dubai Creek Tower.
Dubai Creek Residences, six towers with 872 homes, were the first to hand over in March 2019. Harbour Views, Creek Horizon, Creekside 18, The Cove, Creek Gate, Creek Rise and Harbour Gate followed between 2020 and 2022, then The Grand, Address Harbour Point, Palace Residences, Creek Edge and Creek Palace.
This is the district to buy if you want to move in or rent out immediately. Island towers also put you closest to the marina, the promenade and the future tower plaza.
Dubai Creek Tower itself is not built. Its foundations were completed in 2017 and 2018, the design has since been revised, and in June 2026 the construction tender was postponed to re-price it. Treat it as a future landmark with no fixed date.
Two towers are still under construction on the island: Creek Waters and Creek Waters 2, on its northern edge, scheduled for September and December 2027.
